As Natives plan their return to the Brighton Pride parade for the third consecutive year, we thought we’d dig deeper into what Brighton Pride and LGBTQ+ means to our employees.
Yes, we can’t wait to be part of the parade this year, but it means so much more to us than just a party. Every year we select a charity to raise money for (which is then matched by the company). In the past, this has been Ditch The Label and Terrence Higgins Trust. This year we have been raising money for Mind, which is a mental health charity that supports people globally, as well as in Brighton.
As we look ahead to the weekend a few of the Natives have taken the time to share their experiences of Pride and the LGBTQ+ community. Here’s what they had to say:
Natives' values and commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace has been recognised, and the Natives are now Stonewall Diversity Champions. This award is celebrated amongst our staff, with our clients, the sectors we work in and with the LGBTQ+ community in general.
We hope everyone has a safe and happy Pride.
